Requirements / Qualifications

• Education and Experience: - Education as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015: High school diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years of higher education study (48 semester units) OR possession of an Associate’s or higher degree OR met a rigorous standard of quality and able to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics - Specialized training appropriate for the area of assignment (i.e., behavior training, sign language, braille, etc.) - Experience working with individuals with special needs - Computer experience
• Licenses and Certifications: - Valid California driver’s license with evidence of insurability - Passing Score on the MCOE Braille Competency Test - Complete approved MCOE Crisis Intervention Program within six (6) months of employment and maintains valid certification - First Aid and CPR Certification within six (6) months of employment
• Copy of Transcript
• Letter of Introduction
• Proof of HS Graduation (or GED)
• Resume
