About the Role

Performs entry-level parole administration work. Work involves providing supervision to inmates; conducting parole investigations; and obtaining information for and preparing parole administration documentation. Works under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

• You have 60 accredited college hours and 2 years experience with case management, case processing, criminal justice, or the military.
• You have the ability to get along with others as part of a team.
• You have a good working knowledge of computers and electronic communication.

• You have knowledge of or experience with motivational interviewing.
• You have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Additional Information

• Retiree Salary will be 2.5% less than the posted salary.
• Travel: None - Position may make day trips, but no overnight trips.
• Work Site Visits: No.

• This is a hazardous duty position.
• This is a career ladder position. Current employees in this career ladder who meet minimum requirements and are classified at a higher level may apply and interview but will remain at their current level and pay grade if selected. Former employees who previously met requirements and were classified at a higher level may return to their prior career ladder level at the current pay grade if selected.
