Boys Assistant Tennis Coach

About the Role

Support the Head Coach in organizing and supervising the sports program. Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment. Serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions.

Assists in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled events, meetings, or practices. Advise, coordinate, and support additional staff, such as volunteers and assistant coaches, when necessary. Performs other duties which may be assigned by the head coach, athletic director, or principal.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach, athletic director, or principal.

Qualifications

Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
