Job Description Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator in our Lancaster, PA location. Primary Functions The ideal candidate will operate CNC Vertical and Horizontals machine in the Machining Center and perform minor machine maintenance as required or directed. In addition, you will perform a visual inspection to ensure all parts meet quality standards before shipping to the customer. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and precision of components used in aerospace and defense applications. Preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with no prior related experience and/or training necessary.Ability to read and set up tolerances and work from blueprints.Ability to reach and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.Ability to set up and operate manual machines such as mill and/or lathesMechanically inclined and possess strong degree of attention to detail.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw and apply valid conclusions.Ability to maintain accurate records required for production and quality.Basic Math skills are required including Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication.Ability to be cross trained throughout manufacturing facility Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
