Box Truck Owner Operator

About the role

Courier Connection is seeking experienced Box Truck Owner Operators with their own 24ft/ and 26ft box trucks for day loads. The position offers local, long distance, and out-of-state opportunities with first-come, first-served on-demand loads. This is a 1099 position with weekly settlements.

Responsibilities

• Drive 24ft/ and 26ft box trucks
• Must have a working lift gate
• Handle load and unload touch freight
• Must be 21 years or older with 3 years of verifiable driving history
• Provide a copy of your current 7-year Department of Motor Vehicle report (non-certified)
• Show proof of insurance with at least $1 million in liability and $100,000 in cargo coverage
• List yourself as the insured driver on the policy
• Ensure all trucks have a working lift gate, pallet jack, and hand truck

Requirements

Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Class A preferred)

Qualifications

Experience operating a 24ft/ and 26ft box truck is required. Previous experience in freight transportation is preferred.

Compensation is based on the volume of loads completed and is determined on a weekly basis.
