Responsibilities
- Pick up and unload donations from vendors and community donors
- Make deliveries to disabled and elderly clients
- Maintain and clean the delivery vehicle
- Perform warehouse tasks such as sorting, stocking, bagging, and clean-up
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a box truck or similar delivery vehicle preferred
- Able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and walk up stairs
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to unexpected situations
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing
- CDL preferred
