Box Truck Driver - Budget Truck - PT

Avis Budget Group is immediately hiring for an entry-level, hands-on role supporting daily fleet operations at our airport locations. No prior experience is required.

About the role

You will move fleet vehicles efficiently within lots or between designated locations, inventory vehicles, enter vehicle status into a handheld device, and help keep parking areas organized, safe, and tidy. Your work ensures vehicles are in the right place and customers experience a smooth rental process.

Responsibilities

• Move fleet vehicles within lots or between designated locations as needed
• Inventory vehicles and enter vehicle status into a handheld device
• Maintain organized, safe, and tidy parking areas
• Accurately track and position vehicles to support fleet readiness

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to work outdoors, near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels, and drive vehicles in all weather conditions
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; continuously stand, walk, sit, and kneel frequently; and enter, exit, and drive a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular, on-site presence is required; this position cannot be performed remotely

Pay

Starting pay is $14.00/hour. Factors which may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
