Box Truck Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport, deliver, and unload windows and patio door products to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a Box Truck.
• Complete assigned delivery routes out of Lakewood and Auburn.
• Safely drive a Box Truck or equivalent‑size vehicle to local construction sites and other delivery locations.
• Manually load and unload windows, patio doors, and other products at delivery locations.
• Spend approximately 50 % of the time driving and 50 % loading/unloading products.
• Address customer questions, issues, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Represent the company professionally through actions and personal appearance.
• Accurately and legibly complete all delivery and return documentation.
• Maintain required driver logs and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Keep the assigned vehicle and equipment clean, neat, and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable DOT regulations.
• Assist other team members with loading and unloading as needed.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and complete required reports and records in accordance with DOT Regulation 391.11.

Qualifications

• CDL not required; must be DOT compliant.
• At least 2 years verifiable Box Truck driving experience, including winter driving (equivalent Military DD214 experience acceptable).
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations; handle receipts, read maps, road signs, and maintain logs.
• Ability to follow instructions via on‑board computer system and by phone.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly, above shoulder height and below the waist, with or without assistance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay

Base pay starts at $27.00 per hour.

Schedule

Day shift, full‑time (regularly working 30 + hours per week).
