Box Maker Labor PR01U 2nd Shift (August) Forest, MS

This position is responsible for assembling and supplying boxes used in the packaging process while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The Box Maker supports production operations by ensuring a steady flow of properly constructed boxes to the production lines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble corrugated boxes and lids manually or by assisting box machine operations to support production needs
• Retrieve box materials (flats, lids, and supplies) from designated storage areas and transport to workstation
• Ensure proper box size, quality, and assembly to meet product specifications
• Maintain continuous flow of boxes to production lines to avoid downtime
• Monitor box machine or conveyor systems for proper operation and report issues to supervision or maintenance
• Perform rework, stacking, and palletizing of finished boxes as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of work area by disposing of waste and following sanitation guidelines
• Follow all safety policies, including proper PPE usage and safe equipment handling
• Comply with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Must not have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times; rehires accepted after 365 days
