Responsibilities
- Cross-train in milk receiving, pasteurization, batching/blend, and product filling operations.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.
- Inspect bulk tanker, collect raw dairy samples, perform sensory evaluations, and physical testing.
- Promptly report any out-of-specifications or deviations to the department supervisor.
- Safely hook-up tanker trucks, pump raw dairy product into bulk tanks, and perform CIP and SIP operations.
- Mix, blend, and batch product blends according to customer recipes and specifications.
- Process product in compliance with state and federal guidelines to meet pasteurization requirements.
- Review daily time and temperature charts, report variances, and implement corrective action plans.
- Perform filler operator duties, including operation, set-up, product change-overs, and adjustments.
- Identify and communicate out-of-specification product conditions, follow notification protocols, and perform routine equipment adjustments.
- Operate a lift truck safely, accurately complete production records, and perform clean-up and set-up operations.
- Support product reclaim and rework operations, and perform environmental controls.
- Unload trucks, follow inventory control guidelines, and support internal and external audits.
- Follow established occupational health and safety procedures, GMPs, and Food Safety requirements.
- Cross-train with other departments and maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations.
- Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and other department personnel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications are a plus, but not required.
- A working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, QA/QC, CQP, HACCP, SOP, 5S, GMP).
- Strong math skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP applications, SAP.
- Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels, and mechanical operations.
- Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

$21.63 + $1.50/hr night shift differential.
Schedule
Depending on Shift: B-Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Wednesday 6pm-6:30am
D-Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & every other Wednesday 6pm-6:30am.
