Box Machine Operator - Retail - 2nd Shift - Demopolis

Responsibilities

• Makes up corrugated cartons and places them on the box conveyor or stacks onto pallets in required stacking patterns
• Maintains proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Helps maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company standards and USDA regulations
• Executes processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations
• Works closely with department supervisors, other department leads, and processing team members to achieve accuracy within the processing department
• Supports Foster Poultry Farms' mission, vision, and ACTION guiding principles: Accountability, Collaboration, Truth-Seeking, Initiative, Ownership, and Nimbleness

Qualifications

• Able to work weekends, holidays, varying shifts, and overtime as needed
• Able to submit and pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-Verify
• Able to read and write English legibly
• Able to communicate with all levels including management
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to make decisions regarding deviations from procedures
• Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for coworkers
• Able to wear company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
