Bowling Desk Attendant
Job Overview
The purpose of this position is to contribute to membership sales and retention; oversee the functions at the assigned desk, assist members and guests in a professional, courteous and service oriented manner; and to provide service enhancements to members and guests.
Work You’ll Do
- Welcome and greet members and guests with questions and concerns.
- Maintain schedules for usage of gyms, courts, golf simulator, batting machine, salon and/or bowling facility.
- Maintain accurate records of program participation and equipment usage.
- Reconcile daily sales depending on where you are working; either at the Proshop, Recharge, Concessions or Bowling.
- Assign alleys, collect fees, issue equipment to bowlers, and correct pin-resetting machine malfunctions.
- Operate equipment necessary for the sale of items.
- Prepare adequate supply of food and beverages for sale.
- Perform point of sale functions for change and cash sales.
- Monitor daily inventory of food and beverage supplies.
- Congduct weekly product inventory for reorder.
- Provide service enhancements to members and guests.
- Aid members with questions, concerns, and directions.
Job Requirements
- Ability to pass basic math test.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must have weekend availability.
- Capacity to handle and lift up to 25lbs. as needed.
- Physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
