Sales & Financial Management
- Drive daily sales to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Manage cost of sales and ensure proper pricing strategies are in place.
- Reconcile and review monthly invoices statements for accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and product selection.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability.
- Oversee unpacking, tagging, and display of merchandise.
- Ensure all items are priced accurately and consistently.
- Forecast stock levels and place reorders as needed.
Vendor & Product Management

Merchandising & Inventory
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that enhance guest experience and drive sales.
- Maintain visually appealing and brand-aligned displays.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Forecast stock levels and place reorders as needed.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and schedule retail associates.
- Provide coaching and support to ensure excellent guest service and sales performance.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment.
Guest Service
- Deliver an elevated shopping experience that reflects the hotel’s brand.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and feedback.
Education/Formal Training:
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a boutique or hospitality setting.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in sales reporting and expense management.
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship skills.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail best practices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to lift, unpack, and manage merchandise as required.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying - lift inventory, boxes up to 40 lbs.
- Bending/kneeling - bending required to stock and clean the shop; kneeling required to assist in inventory and guest service.
- Mobility - needs to be able to move around shop to assist guest, stock merchandise, control loss, dust all areas of the shop, vacuum the shop, reach high hanging merchandise.
- Continuous standing - clerk will stand behind the register as the posted perch area, when not assisting guests on the floor or conducting inventory/cleaning duties.
- Climbing stairs of approximately 1 step 50% of 8 hour shift; climbing ladders of approximately 6 feet 30% of 8 hour shift.
Environment:
- Work inside 95% shift.
