Bourbon Orleans - Director Revenue-Hotel
About the Role
As Director of Revenue for Hotels, you’ll lead property teams to uncover and seize every revenue opportunity—whether it’s a full-service, premium select, or independent hotel. You’ll be the daily go-to for support, driving both short- and long-term success through smart reporting, forecasting, and innovative strategies. You’ll also play a vital role on the Executive Committee, helping shape the hotel’s future while maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy Leadership: Partner with hotel leaders for daily yield controls, optimize inventory, and maximize revenue across all channels.
- Sales & Market Optimization: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure top group business, activate meeting rooms, and enhance the hotel’s market presence with creative strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze revenue reports, interpret market trends, and leverage forecasting tools to outperform competitors.
- Communication & Collaboration: Lead dynamic meetings, distribute actionable reports, and deliver engaging training to ensure operational excellence.
- Continuous Improvement & Representation: Excel in performance reviews and industry events, mentor teams to achieve new heights, and champion budgeting initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of hotel experience or a 4-year hospitality/business degree plus 3+ years of related experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with hotel operations, yield management, and PMS systems.
- Skilled in analyzing financial data, critical thinking, and adapting to shifting demand and market conditions.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Consistently maintains a professional, service-oriented approach and adheres to company standards.
