About the role
The Private Client Manager leads the development, engagement, and growth of Boucheron's most valuable clients across the Americas region. Based in New York City, this role acts as a brand ambassador and strategic client development leader, cultivating relationships with High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals while driving exceptional commercial performance across Fine and High Jewelry.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Brand Client strategy focused on acquisition, retention, and growth of HNW and UHNW clientele.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with high-potential prospects and existing top clients.
- Create and maintain individualized client engagement plans and long-term relationship strategies.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, social circles, luxury partnerships, and industry events.
- Drive sales performance through personalized outreach, private appointments, and curated presentations.
- Act as a key ambassador for High Jewelry collections and special orders.
- Partner with boutiques and leadership teams to identify and close significant sales opportunities.
- Facilitate presentations of exceptional pieces through private viewings, trunk shows, and exclusive appointments.
- Support clients through bespoke commissions and personalized purchasing journeys.
- Create exceptional and memorable client experiences that reflect Boucheron’s heritage and values.
- Host private events, intimate dinners, collection previews, and VIP experiences throughout the Americas.
- Ensure every client interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury service, discretion, and sophistication.
- Foster a strong team-first culture by maintaining open communication and collaborating closely with boutique teams before, during, and after client appointments.
- Support boutique operations by ensuring all client appointments are properly concluded, including the organization and care of jewelry, displays, and client spaces following presentations.
- Communicate upcoming appointments, client visits, events, and opportunities proactively to ensure teams are prepared and aligned.
- Share appointment outcomes, client feedback, sales results, and next steps with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Represent Boucheron at key industry, cultural, philanthropic, and luxury lifestyle events.
- Build brand awareness and visibility within influential networks and communities.
- Champion the Maison's history, creativity, and values with authenticity and passion.

Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years of experience in luxury client development, private client relations, high jewelry sales, or luxury relationship management.
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum, with Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and/or American Gem Society (AGS) certification a plus.
- Proven success working with High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clientele.
- Experience within luxury jewelry, watches, fashion, hospitality, art, private banking, or luxury lifestyle sectors preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to generate significant revenue through relationship-building and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of clienteling, CRM strategies, and luxury consumer behavior.
- Foreign language a plus.
- 30-50% Travel required.
