Bottling Technician I/II (PM Shift)

BioLegend is seeking a Bottling Technician I for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group. This role involves processing product formulations, dispensing antibody products, capping, labeling, kitting, completing batch records, and managing Finished Good Inventory (FGI). You will collaborate closely with core teams within the Bottling Department and other departments such as Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging, and Quality Control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bottling tasks including dispensing antibody solutions, capping, labeling vials, tubes, or bottles, and assembling kits
• Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
• Verify formulation worksheets for accuracy (e.g., concentrations, lot numbers)
• Put away finished goods according to designated temperature conditions
• Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
• Set up and prepare equipment for operations (e.g., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine)
• Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment
• Follow instructions for job tasks while adhering to health/safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain work area, lab equipment, and supplies
• Perform data entry and complete production documentation
• Undertake other projects or responsibilities as required

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or some college
• 6 months of experience in a laboratory, biotech manufacturing, and/or filling/bottling/packaging environment
• 6 months of hands-on experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a regulated manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in pipetting or dispensing liquid products
• Ability to perform simple math calculations
• Experience with aseptic technique in a biosafety cabinet

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role primarily operates in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer and exposure to a warehouse setting. The physical demands include:

• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Frequent standing, talking, and hearing
• Reaching with hands and arms

Pay

The base hourly range for this full-time position is $18.25 - $22.00/hour. The final offer will consider internal equity, work location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires, with opportunities for progression and development.

Schedule

Working hours for this position are 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
