About the role
Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Sample Bottle Prep Technician in their Parsippany, New Jersey laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Preserve bottles
- Pack bottle orders according to client specifications
- Stock shelves and supplies
- Print bottle orders (if required)
- Ship bottle orders on the FedEx system
- Prepare acid dilutions
- Preserve bottles following SOP guidelines
- Restock shelves with the proper bottle types
- Keep area clean and free of clutter
- Prepare dilutions of acids used in preserving bottles
- Prepare samples in coolers with bubble wrap for shipping
- Wash coolers
- Ship bottle orders on the FedEx system
- May need to perform Courier duties and pick up samples from client sites
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Able to stand, bend, twist throughout the day
- Must be able to understand and follow SOPs and work instructions
- Must be able to operate a computer and printer
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and relate well to people in direct communication
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Valid US drivers license without recent incident
- Will drive company provided vehicle as needed
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
