Job Overview

Working in part and prep, you will be responsible for prepping molds which includes cleaning the molds using the proper materials. Once the molds are formed you will be responsible for parting the molds and ensuring that there is no damage that occurs in this process. You will need to know how to operate a fork truck as well and overhead cranes. Keeping the area clean and free of debris is essential to keeps the molds free of debris.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements could include safety glasses, hard hats, full face respirators, dust masks, gloves, and chemical resistant suits
• Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, reaching
• Moderate lifting ability up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (maybe above 100 ambient degrees or below 10 ambient degrees in areas of production)
• Ability to work in a fiberglass dust environment and a fast paced, noisy environment
• Use judgment in performing process requirements to meet established deadlines
• Must complete classroom and on the job training
• Must detect mold defects
• Must keep tools in good working order
• Basic skills in forklift, overhead hoist, and computer skills preferred
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
• Ability to work with fellow coworkers in proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect
• Ability to fluently speak, read, understand, and write English

• Must always follow all safety and quality standards, including chemical handling standards and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must be able to operate all equipment associated with job functions
• Must use judgment when moving molds
• Must complete classroom and on the job training
• Must detect mold defects
• Must keep tools in good working order

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this position is $17.56-$26.70 /hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
