Position Summary

The BOSS (Buy Online Ship from Store) Fulfillment Outfitter improves the shopping experience by accessing inventory across all retail locations to quickly find the right product for customers. The role involves filling BOSS orders, sorting, picking, packing, and loading merchandise for shipment to direct customers and retail stores while maintaining product quality and appearance.

Essential Functions

• Receive, inspect, and sort merchandise in the back room.
• Fill orders by matching merchandise to order specifications.
• Pack merchandise in appropriate containers, cartons, or packaging for shipment.
• Apply designated labels and visually inspect products for quality and presentation.
• Pull merchandise from stock locations and place in proper containers.
• Move merchandise using authorized material‑handling equipment (stock pickers, lift trucks) or manually load/unload trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
• Attend mandatory training and in‑services (orientation, safety, job‑skills).
• Assist customers on the sales floor with merchandise selection and buying decisions during store hours.
• Communicate issues such as short picks, out‑of‑stocks, on‑hand counts, and supply needs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: High school diploma.
• Experience: 0‑2 years.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

• Follow through on order processing and properly close orders in the BOSS system.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co‑workers, and customers.
• Read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with a team.
• Stand for extended periods; constantly stand, walk, and repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Operate receiving equipment and material‑handling machinery.
• Occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, ramps; work in tight/confined spaces, low or high temperatures, and outdoor elements (precipitation, wind).
• Occasionally work in noisy environments.

Independent Judgment

Performs tasks under general supervision using established procedures, chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems, and makes occasional recommendations to improve work procedures, policies, and practices.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $17.00 – $19.75 (part‑time).
