Bosch, Thermador & Gaggenau Home Appliance Service Technician
Pay range: $33.18 - $44.24
Responsibilities
- Travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair major gas and electric appliances (ovens, cooktops, refrigerators, etc.) to ensure the effective repair and first-time resolution of all in-home customer repairs within an agreed region.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and rectify as required.
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide a positive service experience.
- Advise our customers on the correct operation of their products to enable them to utilize the appliances correctly.
- Offer helpful customer solutions by soft-selling products, such as accessories, service plans, maintenance plans, etc.
- Maintain an up-to-date van stock of parts, in accordance with current van stock lists and to ensure parts are safeguarded from damage.
- Utilize B-apps (B-tooling, B-fixing, and B-informing) for paperwork and documentation.
- Ensure every job is completed with care, professionalism, and safety in mind.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 3-5 years’ experience with appliance repair, or transferrable skills from electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trades.
- Organized with the ability to complete multiple service calls in a timely manner daily while providing high levels of customer service.
- Provide updates and progress to manager on service requests.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
- Solid diagnostic, troubleshooting skills and proficient in basic math.
- Customer-first mindset and strong professional communication and written skills.
- Ability to explain repairs to customers in a logical manner.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain a company provided vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more.
