Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and deposits
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate records in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Auxiliary with payroll entries and expense tracking
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end close
- Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
Customer Service Duties
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with scheduling and questions
- Greet customers and provide a professional, friendly first impression
- Communicate repair updates and timelines clearly
- Cook with technicians and estimators to ensure smooth workflow
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Auxiliary with insurance-related communication when needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in an automotive or collision repair setting is a plus (not required)
