About the role
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Process payments and reconcile accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Handle bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
