Key Responsibilities
- BPA Client Leadership
- Serve as senior sponsor and relationship owner for BPA
- Lead the BPA Client Team and coordinate cross-business unit delivery
- Manage the overall BPA client experience and long-term relationship strategy
- Forecast BPA sales, revenue, and staffing needs
- Ensure profitability, favorable contract terms, and successful collections
- Market & Business Development
- Lead proposal development, proposals, presentations, and negotiations
- Identify and pursue BPA-specific and regional utility opportunities
- Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated solutions
- Project & Team Leadership
- Serve as Principal-in-Charge, Client Team Leader, or Project Manager
- Oversee power delivery projects, including substations, transmission, and studies
- Ensure quality, schedule, budget, and risk management standards are met or exceeded
- Coach project managers and support project recovery when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in power delivery or utility consulting
- Proven success leading utility client relationships
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Direct experience working with BPA
- Established relationships with Pacific Northwest utilities
- Experience with Alternative Project Delivery (APD) or EPC/EPCM projects
- Recognized industry presence and thought leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in power delivery or utility consulting
- Proven success leading utility client relationships
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
