Key Responsibilities

  • BPA Client Leadership
    • Serve as senior sponsor and relationship owner for BPA
    • Lead the BPA Client Team and coordinate cross-business unit delivery
    • Manage the overall BPA client experience and long-term relationship strategy
    • Forecast BPA sales, revenue, and staffing needs
    • Ensure profitability, favorable contract terms, and successful collections
  • Market & Business Development
    • Lead proposal development, proposals, presentations, and negotiations
    • Identify and pursue BPA-specific and regional utility opportunities
    • Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated solutions
  • Project & Team Leadership
    • Serve as Principal-in-Charge, Client Team Leader, or Project Manager
    • Oversee power delivery projects, including substations, transmission, and studies
    • Ensure quality, schedule, budget, and risk management standards are met or exceeded
    • Coach project managers and support project recovery when needed

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license
    • Minimum 15+ years of experience in power delivery or utility consulting
    • Proven success leading utility client relationships
    • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Direct experience working with BPA
    • Established relationships with Pacific Northwest utilities
    • Experience with Alternative Project Delivery (APD) or EPC/EPCM projects
    • Recognized industry presence and thought leadership

    What You Bring
