Bolted Tank Erector

Erect and install bolted steel tanks and/or domes

• Part of a 4-6-man field construction crew
• 100% continuous out-of-state travel working 6 to 7 days per week
• Must be capable and willing to work continuously on the road up to 2 – 3 months
• Must work in all hot & cold weather extremes
• Must be capable of properly lifting a minimum of 150 pounds
• Must provide and wear steel-toed boots
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow safety procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Current or able to obtain OSHA 10 hour training within the first 30 days of employment
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license or identification card

Skills

• Knowledge and ability to use common measuring instruments and hand tools such as tape measures, level, or square
• Ability to receive and comprehend verbal and/or non-verbal directions from Crew Foreman
• Use a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and other equipment to correctly assemble tank systems
• Lift, carry, or guide machine aided movement of assembly material such as steel sheets, channels, tubes, mechanical fasteners, & other items as requested/needed for tank assembly

Benefits

• Per diem ($45 per day) Hotels paid by company
• Pay is based on Experience ($18.50 to $25.00 per Hour)
