Boilermakers – Industrial Power Plant

Location: Goose Creek, SC (Dominion Energy)
Project Duration: September 14, 2026 – October 19, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 10-hour shifts

About the role

We are currently seeking Boilermakers to support a project at an industrial power plant in Goose Creek, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced, safety-conscious craft professionals with a strong background in industrial construction, demolition, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel erection and demolition activities.
• Fabricate, install, modify, and demolish duct work.
• Perform basic rigging activities to safely move and position materials and equipment.
• Use torches and oxylance equipment for cutting and demolition activities.
• Read and accurately interpret a tape measure.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Assist with industrial maintenance, construction, and demolition activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company and site safety policies and procedures.
• Work safely and efficiently while supporting daily project operations.

Requirements

• Previous Boilermaker experience in an industrial environment required.
• Experience with structural steel erection and demolition.
• Experience with duct work fabrication and demolition.
• Knowledge of and experience with basic rigging.
• Ability to safely use a torch and Oxylance.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret drawings.
• Ability to work in an industrial power plant environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and working outdoors as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Must be dependable and able to work the scheduled hours.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
