About the role
This position is responsible for maintaining boiler operations to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous steam operations.
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise in boiler operation systems, vessels, processes, and troubleshooting for the department.
- Performs various tasks including monitoring and preventative maintenance.
- Works independently or with other department staff to resolve errors and system faults, researching and pursuing issues to final resolution.
- Provides guidance and advice to less experienced staff in the resolution of system errors and issues.
- Ensures that own work is in compliance with all corporate policies, safety guidelines, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum Massachusetts Second Class Fireman License
