Boiler Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Keep line of communication open through pre-shift meetings, checking and responding to emails, signing off log and reporting any problems to supervisor/manager.
• Maintain boiler operations by monitoring systems and their levels and systems hourly, doing PMs, & work orders.
• Maintain paperwork and checks associated with boiler operations such as taking steam flow reading, condensate readings, boiler reading and quick water readings and other documentation as required.
• Note any changes in system and complete daily log.
• Maintain work area in which he/she works by sweeping, washing down area, cleaning office area and painting.
• Note any changes in the system, fill out daily log and put away all tools.

Qualifications

This position is considered safety sensitive under Act 593(B).
