Boil Operator I

Description

What the Boiler Operator I will need:

• High school graduate with formal training in basic electrical or electronic theory preferred.
• Boiler Operator license preferred.
• Maritime or powerhouse experience with boiler operation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of equipment methods and materials used in boiler operation to include but not limited to electrical systems, pneumatic control circuits.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards.
• Ability to operate power tools and complex test equipment.
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.

Schedule

• 80 hours per pay period (pp) - 10-hour shift: 11:00 PM - 9:30 AM
• 8 days on and 6 days off
• Weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
