Description
What the Boiler Operator I will need:
- High school graduate with formal training in basic electrical or electronic theory preferred.
- Boiler Operator license preferred.
- Maritime or powerhouse experience with boiler operation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of equipment methods and materials used in boiler operation to include but not limited to electrical systems, pneumatic control circuits.
- Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards.
- Ability to operate power tools and complex test equipment.
- Valid Michigan driver's license.
- Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.
Schedule
- 80 hours per pay period (pp) - 10-hour shift: 11:00 PM - 9:30 AM
- 8 days on and 6 days off
- Weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
