About the role
BODYROK offers high-intensity, low-impact Pilates workouts that tone, sculpt, and redefine your body and mind in just 40-50 minutes. As a Studio Advisor, you’ll provide customer service support to studio members and guests, and support instructors in creating a positive environment for our community. You’ll generate revenue by developing relationships with potential, new, and existing members to increase membership enrollment and package purchases. This role is an hourly position with a base rate plus unlimited commission potential—your earning potential is limited only by your drive and willingness to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Greet all incoming members and guests, ensure check-in procedures are followed, and thank guests as they exit.
- Create new business internally through member promotions, referrals, and inquiries.
- Promote specials to current and future guests and reach out to existing and potential members via email for sales opportunities.
- Reconcile and report all incoming and outgoing transactions and attain personal sales revenue targets.
- Provide studio tours to potential members, connecting them to the facility, equipment, services, and amenities.
- Handle member service issues, including address changes, electronic funds setup, billing questions, and payments.
- Update Supply Request Log and Maintenance Log as needed.
- Promote and sell merchandise, keeping the front desk and entryway clutter-free and orderly.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including hourly bathroom and studio checks, and maintain towels/laundry.
- Follow up with enrolled members to ensure expectations are exceeded.
- Provide the highest level of customer service in all interactions with guests.
- Initiate tasks and perform duties independently without micromanagement.
- Monitor incoming emails and ensure proper procedures are followed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of MindBody software experience preferred.
- Competitive drive to succeed in commission sales and performance-based culture.
- Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
- Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and friendly personality.
- Comfortable interacting with new people and making them feel welcome.
- Available to work at least 2 weekend days per month (e.g., 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday, 2 Saturdays, or 2 Sundays).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- The employee occasionally sits, walks, kneels, and reaches with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the studio environment is loud.
Pay
$15.00 per hour (base) plus unlimited commission potential.
