Body/Abdominal Imaging Radiologist - Tampa, FL - Full Academic Appointment & Bonus Offered!

Radiology Associates of Florida is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Body Radiologist to join our team in Tampa, FL. You will be working at Tampa General Hospital, the #1 transplant hospital in the country, and will have a full academic appointment at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

About the role

Daily workflow involves close collaboration with medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as other attending radiologists for tough cases and lunch breaks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in reading all aspects of body imaging and general diagnostic radiology, and will be interested in continually improving through a challenging case mix and eager trainees.

This position offers a full-time or part-time schedule, Monday through Friday, and is eligible for partnership track. Though primarily on-site, we offer regular remote days, which we intend to expand with a full team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret all aspects of body imaging and general diagnostic radiology
• Collaborate with medical students, residents, and fellows
• Engage in academic activities through the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Residency trained in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Body fellowship trained
• Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of Florida

Preferred Qualifications

• Procedural skills (biopsies and drainages)
• MQSA certification

Pay

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
