Body Shop Technician

Role: Automotive Body Shop Technician Responsibilities Include Performing vehicle repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, and paint preparation, following manufacturer specifications.Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.Collaborating with team members, including estimators and parts departments, to ensure smooth workflow.Communicating repair progress with colleagues and customers.Adhering to safety protocols and conducting quality control checks to meet industry standards.Documenting repairs, recording parts usage and labor hours, and maintaining an organized work area. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a body shop technician or related role.Strong technical skills in automotive body repairs.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.Ability to work effectively within a team.Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to safety guidelines.Physical stamina and dexterity for manual tasks and various working positions.
