About the role
Our Body Shop Technicians are responsible for providing superb customer service by working hard every day to do what we do better than anyone else. This position reports to the Body Shop Manager and is a 40-hour-a-week position eligible for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely.
- Read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing six to eight hours per shift, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and feeling.
- Lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift.
- Use hoist and test equipment.
- Work in environments exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Past collision center experience required.
- Mechanical aptitude and technical ability.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and post-offer drug screen.
