Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality collision repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, quarter panels, and structural components
- Measure and restore vehicle frames and unibody structures using approved repair methods
- Perform metal finishing, panel alignment, and body panel fitting
- Prepare repaired panels for refinishing by sanding, grinding, masking, and applying fillers as needed
- Complete repairs while maintaining factory safety and quality standards
- Review repair orders and communicate additional repair needs with Collision Estimators and management
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all OSHA safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician, Collision Repair Technician, Body Shop Technician, or Collision Technician required
- I-CAR Certification is a plus but not required
- Experience with structural and non-structural collision repairs
- Ability to repair aluminum and steel vehicle components is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a production-driven environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
