The company is immediately hiring a Body Shop Technician for the Miller Truck Leasing division in Amsterdam, NY. Miller operates over 40 diesel‑maintenance shops across KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH, supporting more than 8,000 trucks on the road.

Responsibilities

• Provide full‑body restoration and paint to trucks involved in collisions.
• Perform fiberglass repairs.
• Weld aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
• Repair trailers, side rails, and side sheets.
• Repair and replace roofs, roll‑up doors, lower rails, body corners, and body swaps.
• Install lift gates.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Perform other shop maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Formal training or experience in body‑shop repair operations or as a Body Shop Technician.
• Free range of motion in hands and arms to work with small parts and in confined spaces.
• Attention to detail, strong customer‑service orientation, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment to assess damage and determine repairs.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• May also have trailer‑repair experience.
• PPG Painter certification (preferred).
• Valid CDL Class A or B (preferred).
