Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine each vehicle for damages and participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle.
• Thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle and/or equipment according to OEM specification and company standards.
• Properly fill depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair.
• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents/incidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of collision repair experience in completed light to heavy repairs.
• Ability to make cosmetic repairs.
• Forklift experience beneficial, but not required.
• Auto Body Certification beneficial but not required.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on multiple vehicles and/or equipment at a time and deliver high-quality work.
• Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
