Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs including body panel replacement, dent removal, and frame straightening
- Conduct thorough inspections of body damage and provide accurate repair estimates
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning vehicle parts
- Ensure vehicles meet all safety and quality standards before returning to customers
- Use power tools, welding equipment, paint prep machines, and common hand tools to perform tasks
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in repair processes while meeting deadlines
- Follow manufacturer specifications, repair procedures, and dealership guidelines
- Work closely with estimators, service advisors, and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Body Shop or Collision Repair Technician (Ford dealership experience a plus)
- I-CAR, ASE, or OEM certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair methods, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to identify problems quickly and recommend effective solutions
- Proficiency with repair manuals, computerized estimating systems, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred
- Positive, friendly attitude and commitment to customer service
