Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Repair truck body damage.
- Install aftermarket parts.
- Repair damage to vehicles as necessary and within the guidelines established at time of repair approval.
- Interacts with dealership personnel and customers.
- Look for and report any and all hidden damage observed during the repair process.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- If tech has a CDL, road testing vehicles may be required.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
- Achiet industry certifications as required.
- Keep abreast of manufacturer updates and technical bulletins.
- Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
- Report machinery and equipment defects and malfunctions to department management.
- Keep shop area neat and clean.
- Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and equipment including returning to proper storage location when done.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as EPA, OSHA, and DOT.
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
- Report any safety issues to management immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with a focus on truck body repairs. A valid driver's license and a CDL are preferred. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a commitment to continuous learning are also important.
Pay
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
