This position offers production-based pay, meaning compensation is determined by the tasks performed. Pay ranges from $5 to $20 per flag hour based on location. Additional compensation may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Responsibilities

  • Performs surface refinishing work.
  • Surface preparation prior to painting (masking/protecting adjacent areas, sanding, priming, etc.).
  • Handling, applying, and disposing of surface coatings.
  • Ensuring surface coatings/refinish products are properly formulated in terms of color and finish texture.
  • Applying refinish coatings.
  • Inspecting refinish products for proper formulation to meet color match and finish texture standards.
  • Cleaning and maintaining all paint formulation and application equipment.
  • Complying with applicable procedures and regulations regarding mixing, labeling, applying, and disposing of paint and related materials.
  • Wearing and using appropriate safety equipment at all times.
  • Following all job-related safety and health procedures.
  • Assisting with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana not tested for this position, but possession/use during work hours is prohibited).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
