Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for paint by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Mix and match paint colors to factory specifications
- Apply paint to vehicles with precision and attention to detail
- Inspect finished jobs for quality and accuracy
- Maintain clean workspace and comply with safety regulations
- Collaborate with technicians, estimators, and management to ensure timely repairs
- Stay current with the latest paint application techniques and products
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive painter (2+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials
- Ability to perform color matching and blending
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- I-CAR, ASE, or OEM certifications (a plus, but not required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
