Body Shop Detailer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Exterior Detailing: Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicles to restore their shine and remove imperfections.
• Clean engine and engine components.
• Interior Detailing: Vacuum, shampoo, and clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces for a fresh, spotless finish.
• Special-purpose cleaners are utilized to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove.
• Prep for Repairs: Assist in masking and prepping vehicle for paints and bodywork.
• Touch-ups: Address minor cosmetic flaws like scratches and smudges.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished vehicles to ensure every detail meets our high standards.
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: General upkeep of the work area and shop is ongoing, and practicing safe driving procedures and shop safety is of the utmost importance.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience detailing vehicles is a plus, but not necessary for this role.
• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering top-quality work.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and work in a shop environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years old due to insurance purposes.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
