Body Shop Car Washer / Porter

Responsibilities

• Details the vehicle by cleaning new and used vehicles, including washing the exterior and vacuuming the interior.
• Performs detailed cleaning of vehicle interiors and exteriors, including spot stain removal on upholstery, rugs, and exterior surfaces using special-purpose cleaners.
• Inspects vehicle interior and exterior thoroughly.
• Verifies all accessories and options are functional (installs if needed).
• Removes any shipping materials left on or in the vehicle.
• Sets radio, clock, compass, fuel economy readings, etc.
• Applies Mac Haik decals.
• Checks and adds all fluids as necessary.
• Fills fuel tank to designated levels.
• Test drives the vehicle.
• Delivers vehicle packet to designee with keys labeled with location and mileage.
• Meets customer service standards by achieving "above district" customer service (CSI) scores.
• Follows established safety protocols; reports improperly working shop equipment and safety incidents immediately.
• Understands, stays informed of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
• Safeguards dealership assets and customer data.
• Completes required training assigned through the company training portal.
• Adheres to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrates ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive Group brand.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including sweeping, emptying trash, and more.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive detailing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
