Body Shop Apprentice Technician

About the role

Crest Ford of Flat Rock is seeking a full-time Body Shop Apprentice Technician. This position offers an opportunity to join the Bodyshop Technician Training Program within a certified Ford Dealership Bodyshop.

Responsibilities

• Moving customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility
• Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
• Clean and prep vehicles for paint
• Sand and rub
• Remove and install vehicle parts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules, practices, as well as posted work rules and procedures
• Positive outlook with a high energy personality
• Ability to exercise good judgement and critical thinking
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must supply own tools
• Basic understanding of vehicles

Qualifications
