About the role

At RWC Group, we're committed to developing the next generation of collision repair professionals. The Body Shop Apprentice position offers hands-on training and mentorship, allowing you to gain experience in collision repair, structural repairs, vehicle refinishing, welding, and manufacturer repair procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced technicians with vehicle disassembly, reassembly, and collision repairs.
  • Learn body panel replacement, dent repair, structural repairs, and refinishing preparation.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces.
  • Perform detailing and final vehicle preparation before customer delivery.
  • Safely operate shop tools and equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in manufacturer and company training programs to build your technical skills.
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards while supporting the Body Shop team.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
  • Enjoys working with their hands and solving mechanical challenges.
  • An interest in collision repair, painting, welding, or vehicle restoration.
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Works well as part of a team and takes pride in quality workmanship.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Previous automotive, body shop, construction, fabrication, or vocational school experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate!

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is motivated, enjoys working with their hands, and has a passion for collision repair, painting, welding, or vehicle restoration. A valid driver's license is required, but previous experience is not necessary as we offer comprehensive training.
