BODY SHOP ADVISOR

French Ellison Truck Center, located in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a Body Shop Advisor to join a growing and successful dealer group.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive initial contact with body shop customers
• Handle all body shop phone calls professionally and expediently
• Work closely with shop foreman to schedule repairs
• Perform additional duties as required by the Body Shop Manager
• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks
• Send professional estimates including parts and labor to customers
• Open work orders
• Discuss service issues with customers and accurately document problems and requests
• Determine method of payment and explain payment requirements before work begins
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process
• Maintain complete knowledge of OEM and vendor warranties
• Close repair orders
• Perform all other assigned duties

Requirements

• Ability to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elements
• Willingness and ability to work up to 12 hours per day as required
• Ability to sell body shop work
• Experience working with customers in a variety of situations
• Good writing and communication skills
• Sufficient computer skills
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift/move up to 75 lbs. regularly
• Flexibility to extend working hours when necessary (8-12 hour days)

Schedule

• 8-12 hour days, with flexibility to extend working hours as needed
