Body Mounting Technician

About the role

M.H. Eby, Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers & truck bodies, seeks Body Mounting Technicians at its Blue Ball facility. The Body Mounting Technician installs, modifies, and repairs truck bodies and related equipment according to manufacturing specifications and company standards. This position requires the use of various tools and equipment, interpretation of technical drawings, and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Effectively comply with all company safety standards.
• Accurate measurements using a tape measure.
• Weld and assemble various parts prior to assembly of finished product.
• Cut and fabricate materials for assembly of manufactured products.
• Cut, fabricate, and install various parts in truck bodies.
• Install required wiring and electrical components.
• Work with hydraulics.
• Install truck bodies and related components.
• Assist in assembling products.
• Responsible for department hand and power tools.
• QC bodies prior to installation.
• Take photos of completed units for documentation purposes.
• Welding.
• Organize work.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Participate in team initiatives intended to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and overall efficiency.
• Perform all tasks as directed by supervisor.

Requirements

Must possess the ability to work as a team. All applicants will be considered. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the USA. Potential hires must pass a physical and drug screen before starting employment.

Qualifications

Must be able to work a 40-hour per week schedule.

Skills

Must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, operate welding and cutting equipment, and perform basic mechanical tasks.

Pay

Starting wage based upon experience.
