About Pearl Pearl offers experienced Boating and Marine Electronics professionals the opportunity to participate on our platform as independent contractors. This is not an employment position and does not include employee benefits. As a Participating Boat Expert, you may choose to respond to customer inquiries submitted through the platform and provide guidance and information related to boating, marine systems, vessel maintenance, repairs, navigation, marine electronics, and other boating-related topics through secure chat or phone. This flexible engagement model allows you to leverage your expertise, help customers solve boating-related challenges, and earn supplemental income while maintaining full control over your schedule and participation level.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience and a certification in a boating or marine-related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience without a certification
- You have full control over:
- Setting your own availability
- Choosing which customer questions to answer
- Engaging with clients via chat or phone
- Providing category specific expert insight remotely
- Determining how often you participate
Compensation
Participating Boat Experts are compensated on a per-engagement basis for completed interactions. Compensation varies depending on the nature of the engagement and applicable jurisdictional factors. Payments are issued monthly. There are no fees to apply or join the platform.
