Board Operator
Overview
Audacy Atlanta is seeking part-time Board Operator positions for News-Talk WAOK. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience, familiarity with station format, and FCC rules. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching, talking, lifting up to 10 pounds, and manipulating various controls.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for running broadcast board including digital editing, recording, and maintaining network feeds.
- Protects the company's FCC license.
- Might be required to perform light production work.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years previous experience preferred.
- Familiarity with station format required.
- Familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred.
- Must be able to perform with little supervision.
- High school diploma required; college degree in media-related field preferred.
