Job Summary

Dane Street is expanding its physician panel to support L&I Independent Medical Exams. The organization needs Washington-licensed physician advisors to conduct in-person IMEs at various clinic locations including Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Spokane, and Vancouver.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accepts cases on a contract basis as individual schedule permits
  • Reviews all medical records and conducts physical exams
  • Completes a report addressing each question and clinical concern using the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition
  • Returns cases on or before the due date and time specified
  • Performs peer-to-peer calls/call attempts as required based on client-specific protocol, with the goal of obtaining information not included in medical records and any necessary clarification
  • Completes other duties as assigned, including addressing any necessary clarification, providing addenda as required (with additional compensation), identifying and responding to potential quality assurance issues, complaints, and regulatory issues
  • Requires active practice and board certification in Pulmonology

Requirements

  • A Washington medical license is required
  • Active practice and board certification in Neurology
