Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon (M.D, D.O.) Washington L&I IME

Job Summary

Dane Street is expanding its physician panel to include Washington-licensed physician advisors to support L&I Independent Medical Exams. The opportunity involves conducting in-person IMEs across multiple clinic locations in Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Spokane, and Vancouver.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Accepts cases on a contract basis as individual schedule permits
• Reviews all medical records and conducts physical exams
• Completes a report addressing each question and clinical concern using the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition
• Returns cases on or before the due date and time specified
• Performs peer-to-peer calls/call attempts as required based on client-specific protocol, with the goal of obtaining information not included in medical records and any necessary clarification
• Addresses any necessary clarification, provides addenda as required (with additional compensation), identifies and responds to potential quality assurance issues, complaints, and regulatory issues

Requirements

• A Washington medical license is required
• Active practice and board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
