BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (POOL FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS)
Poole School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a variable FTE position.
About the role
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide behavior analytic services to students with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities in special education programs. They will collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavior analytic services to students with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities in special education programs.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
- Conduct assessments and data collection to inform behavior intervention strategies.
- Train staff on behavior analytic techniques and principles.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention strategies and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- A master's degree in behavior analysis or related field.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
